Terms & Conditions
These Terms of Service govern all residential refurbishment, joinery, and structural building services provided by Camber & Plumb. By accepting our written quotation, you agree to these working conditions.
Parties and Scope
These terms apply to the agreement between Camber & Plumb (the contractor) and the property owner or authorised client named on the quotation. The contract covers only the specific works described in our written quotation and any mutually signed change orders.
Booking and Quotes
Quotations remain valid for thirty calendar days from issue. A booking is secured once the written quotation has been signed or confirmed via email, and any agreed initial mobilisation deposit has been paid into our business account.
Performance of Work and Access to Premises
The client agrees to provide clear, safe access to the work area between 08:00 and 17:00, Monday through Friday, along with continuous access to running water and mains electricity. We take reasonable care to protect floors and belongings with protective coverings, but recommend removing delicate items from adjacent rooms.
Prices, Payment After Completion, and Invoices
Prices are set out in the agreed quote. Payment for completed stages or final handover must be made within seven calendar days of invoice date by direct bank transfer or cash on completion. We do not accept card payments, card terminals, or online credit card transactions.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Either party may reschedule work by giving at least seven working days notice prior to the project start date. If the client cancels with less notice after materials have been custom-ordered or site plant has been delivered, the client remains responsible for the direct out-of-pocket costs incurred.
Liability, Insurance, and Complaints
We maintain five million pounds in public liability insurance. Any snagging items or concerns regarding workmanship must be reported in writing within fourteen days of project completion so we can inspect and rectify the work without delay.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in the event of an unresolved dispute.
